Ruben Fleischer

Life

Fleischer graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown (Connecticut), the subject of history from before he went to California and came there with the film industry in contact. He worked as an assistant to Miguel Arteta. He produced and directed the short film The Girls Guitar Club (2001) and in the documentary Gumball 3000: 6 Days in May (2005), as well as video clips for artists like Gold Chains, DJ Format, Electric Six, Dizzee Rascal and MIA.

In the movies he made his debut in 2009 with the zombie comedy Zombieland, which in 2009 won the Audience Award at the Sitges Festival Internacional de Cinema de Catalunya. The actor Lucas Fleischer is his brother.
