Rudolf Langer

Rudolf Langer ( born March 29, 1939 in Sprottau, Lower Silesia ) is a former track and field athlete from the German Democratic Republic, who participated in 1964 in the Olympic Games.

Langer belonged from 1961 to 1967 in the shot put to the best athletes in the GDR. 1961, 1963, 1964 and 1966, he won the league title in 1962 behind Peter Gratz and 1967, he finished second behind Dieter Prollius and 1965 he finished third.
