Rudolf Pichler

Rudolf Pichler ( born September 20, 1930; † 25 July 2011) was an Austrian football player. The striker was national player and 1953 with the Vienna Austria Austrian champion.

Career

Rudolf Pichler began his football career in the second division, ASC Leobersdorf. 1950 made ​​the jump to the A - League 1 SC Wiener Neustadt, where he has been lured away after a half season of Austria Vienna. In the heavy storm of Austria with Ernst Melchior, Fritz Kominek, Adolf Huber, Ernst Stojaspal and Luke Aurednik he usually had to resort to different positions, but came in the semi-finals of the Copa Rio in 1952 to three inserts. Subsequently, he managed to establish itself as a regular force and shot in the master year 1952/53, 21 league goals in as many inserts. However, Rudolf Pichler could ultimately make the jump in 1955 in the Austrian national team. It was followed by a transfer to FC Stadlau in the Regional League East after Rudolf Pichler had achieved in just 200 games in the A- League 126 goals.

Rudolf Pichler died on 25 July 2011 at the age of 80 years.
