Rudolph A. Seiden

Rudolf Seiden ( born August 13, 1900 in Langenwang, † June 12, 1965 in Kansas City ( Missouri)) was an Austrian-American chemist, Zionist and writer.

Life

Rudolf Seiden studied law in Vienna and completed his studies at the Technical University from. In 1924 he married Juliette Niswizski, with whom he had two sons. He was a chemist and Zionist activist, and worked from 1928 to 1931 at the Neue Freie Presse.

1935 emigrated to the United States from silk and acquired U.S. citizenship in 1941. He was there a freelance writer and correspondent for various journals in Chemistry. From 1938 he was Vice President of Production and Research of the Haver - Lockhart Laboratories in Kansas City (Missouri ) and director of the King Coruña Company. He was a member of the American Chemical Society. As a Zionist activist, he wrote for the Jewish periodicals morning newspaper, The Voice, The Jewish Rundschau and Palestine.
