Rueda, Valladolid

Rueda is a municipality with 1343 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) in the province of Valladolid, located in the Spanish autonomous community of Castile and León, about 30 km southwest of the provincial capital Valladolid.

The location is the center of the wine region Rueda (DO). There are mainly processed the grape varieties Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc.
