Ruggero Oddi

Ruggero Ferdinando Antonio Vincenzo Oddi ( born July 20, 1864 in Perugia, † March 22, 1913 in Tunis ) was an Italian anatomist. Comprehensive comparative- anatomical and functional description of the sphincter goes to the common opening of the bile and pancreatic duct to the major duodenal papilla ( papilla of vater ) return ( " sphincter Oddii " ) on it.
