Russell Leetch

Russell Jonathan Leetch ( born March 4, 1982 in Knowle, near Solihull, United Kingdom ) is a British musician and bassist of the indie band Editors. Leetch studied music technology at Staffordshire University in Stafford, where he met the other founding members of the editor. His favorite instruments were first piano and guitar. During his studies he worked with bandmate Tom Smith in a call center. After graduating in the fall of 2003, the band moved closed to Birmingham. Especially at the beginning of times Leetch said to have taken as a bassist strong influence on the direction of the band. Russell Leetch now lives in New York.

When Editor - video for the single "Bones " (2008) led Leetch directing, he also made ​​the same year on a remix of The Hives single " We Rule The World ( THEHIVES ) ". In April 2011, Leetch ran along with Tom Smith of the Editors of the London Marathon, so they collected 5,465 pounds sterling in favor of the charity Oxfam.
