Ryu Mi-yong

Ryu Mi- yong ( born January 7, 1921 in Manchuria ) is a North Korean politician.

Ryu Mi- yong left home at age 16 and married for the first time. After the division of their Korean home she lived in the south of the country. Her second husband, Choe Dok -sin, was a South Korean politician. In 1977, Ryu with her husband into exile, first in the USA and 1986 to North Korea, where she still lives today. After the death of her husband in 1989, she took over from this chair the Central Committee of the Chondoistischen Ch'ŏngu Party, a North Korean block party. In addition, she is still a member of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of North Korea's parliament.
