Sabrina Filzmoser

Sabrina Filzmoser ( born June 12, 1980 in Wels ) is an Austrian judoka. It led up to now four times the European ranking to 57 kg.

Biography

Filzmoser began in 1988 with the judo sport. Ten years later, she celebrated her first major international success when they won the European title in the juniors. After graduation she undertook at the Austrian Federal, to devote himself entirely to the sport of judo. In 2001 she won the first military world title, which she has already won five times. In 2003, she captured as a third party on their first European Championship medal in the women. In 2004, she suffered a herniated disc and just missed qualifying for the Olympic Games in Athens. After the injury, they quickly found the connection to the world's best and was able to continue past successes. In 2005, she reached the third place in the World Championships in Cairo. After the 2006 victory in Paris -Bercy she was short number 1 in the world rankings. In 2008 she won the European title. At the 2008 Olympic Games and the World Championships in 2009 she divorced from each in the preliminary round. At the European Championships in Vienna in 2010 she won the silver medal at the World Championships in Tokyo, the bronze medal. With a final victory over Telma Monteiro won in Istanbul in 2011 for the second time European champion. In the 2012 Olympics she finished 7th.
