Sachsenhausen is a district of the town of Oranienburg in Brandenburg Oberhavel.

Geography

Sachsenhausen is located north of Oranienburg in a wooded area along the river Havel.

Structure

History

The present site of Sachsenhausen was mentioned in 1300 for the first time. This year, for the protection of Havel transition was the Askanische castle Neumühl.
