Sadie Benning
Sadie Benning (* April 11, 1973 in Milwaukee (other sources: Madison ), Wisconsin) is an American video artist and musician.
Benning grew up in Milwaukee and has been known as a teenager the early 1990s. Your first works, when she was 15 years old. She used that time a Fisher-Price Pixel Vision camera, which delivered pixelated images in black and white. Their work is of their experiences and their identity as a lesbian. In the late 90s she starred in the feminist electro punk band Le Tigre, which, however, left again in 2001.
Her father is the avant-garde filmmakers and documentary filmmaker James Benning.
