Saharet, born Clarissa Rose Campbell ( born March 21, 1879 in Melbourne, Australia, † 1942 ibid ) was an Australian cancan dancer.

Life

Saharet was born in Melbourne, Australia, and made ​​his debut at sixteen in ballet. A short time later, she moved with her family to San Francisco. There she received the Orpheum Theatre an engagement as a danseuse excentrique. After a few months, they traveled to New York, and took from there a tour of America. The director of the Folies Bergère hired her in 1897 for Paris and in the same year she married Ike Rose, who organized numerous guest appearances by Germany, Austria, Belgium, England, America, Russia and other countries for them.
