Saint-FÃ©lix-de-Bourdeilles

The French town of Saint -Félix -de- Bourdeilles ( Occitan Sent felic de Bordelha ) is in the northwest of the department of Dordogne in the Aquitaine region. It has 70 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ), in the canton Mareuil and forms part of the Périgord -Limousin Regional Natural Park.

Geography

Saint- Félix -de- Bourdeilles, sometimes referred to as Saint- Félix- de -Mareuil is located nine kilometers north- west of Brantome. The smallest area of municipality in the canton Mareuil is surrounded by the following municipalities:

Monsec in the North
Saint- Crépin- de -Richemont in the East
La Gonterie - Boulouneix in the south
Léguillac -de- Cercle in the West.

In addition to the community center consists of the following hamlets, farms, a mill and a palace:

Château Mondevit, Combaronie, La Berterie, La Cotencie, La Monerie, Le Brouillac, Le Creyssac, Le Moulin de la Berterie, Maison Neuve and Pontarnaud.

The southern part of the municipality is drained by the Ruisseau le Jallieu, a right-hand side of the brook Boulou. The creek initially flows eastward, but turns to the left side of the recording Ruisseau la Paulette after the south-southeast from. Geology

The municipality of Saint- Félix -de- Bourdeilles is completely underlain by sediments of the northeastern Aquitaine basin. In the northern part of the municipality and south of La Monerie lie down on the Upper Cretaceous sediments of alluvial sediments of the Eocene or Lower Oligocene.
