Saint-Georges Cool FM 103.5

The Cool FM 103.5 de Saint -Georges (English Saint -Georges Cool FM 103.5 ) is a Canadian ice hockey team from Saint -Georges- de -Beauce, Québec. The team plays since 2004 in the Ligue Nord - Americaine de Hockey.

History

The franchise of Chacals de la Rive- Sud from the Quebec Semi-Pro Hockey League was moved to Saint -Georges- de -Beauce 1998 by Rive- Sud and renamed Garaga de Saint -Georges. In the years 1999, 2001 and 2004 the team reached the final of the Coupe respectively Futura, but failed each time. One year after the name change to the League Ligue Nord - Americaine de Hockey, the team received following the 2004/ 05 season the name of CRS Express de Saint -Georges. In the 2009/10 season, the first time Canadians won the Coupe Futura.

In June 2010, the franchise was sold and renamed based on the new main sponsor, a regional radio station in Cool FM 103.5 de Saint -Georges. In addition, the club changed its logo.
