Saint-Herblain

The French city of Saint- Herblain in the department of Loire -Atlantique in the Pays de la Loire with 43,082 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) is the third largest city in the department. It is located about 60 km from the Atlantic coast west of Nantes. The city is the seat of the cantons of Saint- Herblain -Est and Saint- Herblain - Ouest- Indre.

History

Saint- Herblain was founded as Santa Hermeland 640-720 of a Benedictine monk.

Infrastructure
