Saint-Thégonnec

Saint- Thégonnec ( Breton Sant - Tegoneg ) is a commune in the Finistère department in Brittany. At 41.76 km ² live 2633 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011). Saint- Thégonnec is the capital of the canton of the same name.

In the village you will find one of the famous parish closes Brittany. The most imposing in the parish of Saint- Thégonnec is certainly the two-story leg house with Corinthian half-columns, built 1676-1682. In contrast, the Calvaire shows only about 40 figures; the scenes depicted are the passion and resurrection. In the base the story of St. Thégonnec is shown.
