Sakaiminato, Tottori
Sakaiminato (Japanese境 港市, -shi) is a city in Tottori Prefecture in Japan.
Geography
Sakaiminato located at the northern end of the Yumigahama Peninsula, a spit of land that separates the Sea of Japan and the lake Nakaumi each other.
History
The city was founded on April 1, 1956.

Attractions
Sakaiminato is the birthplace of the famous cartoonist Shigeru Mizuki manga. In his honor erected a road, are exhibited in the bronze statues of his characters.
