Fire Salamander ( Salamandra salamandra )

The authentics Salamander ( Salamandra ) are developed a genus of Caudata ( Urodela or Caudata ) with higher, sometimes even viviparous species that live primarily terrestrial. Depending on systematic overview six to ten species are currently distinguished within this genus that occur in Europe and the neighboring regions of North Africa and the Middle East.
