Salisbury Island (Nunavut)

Salisbury Iceland ( Inuktitut: Akulliq ) is an uninhabited island in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago, in the Qikiqtaaluk Region of the Canadian territory of Nunavut.

It is located south of the Foxe Peninsula in the Hudson Strait. The neighboring Nottingham Iceland located 27 km south of Salisbury Iceland.

Their land area is 804 km ². The highest elevation of the island reaches a height of 503 m. Salisbury Iceland is 46 km long and 20 km wide.

The island was named after the English city of Salisbury.
