Salmas (Chaldean Archdiocese)
The Eparchy Salama (Latin: Eparchia Salmasiensis ) is a facility located in Iran Eparchy of the Chaldean Catholic church located in Urmia.
History
The eparchy was established by Rome in 1709 and had until 1 World War considerable importance (see Salama ).
The Eparchy Salama is now managed in personal union by the Archbishop of archeparchy Urmia.
