Salso River

The salso is a river in Sicily. It rises in the located in the northern part of the island mountains of Monti Madonie near the Himera Meridional and flows along 29 km away with this.

Although the official name after the unification of the two rivers Himera Meridonale is, the combined flow is often referred to as salso. After this term the salso would be a current, which flows into the Mediterranean Sea at Licata.
