Salvatore Pinna

Salvatore Pinna ( born August 23, 1975 in Sassari ) is an Italian football goalkeeper who stands since the summer of 2009 in Pescara Calcio in Serie B under contract.

Career

Salvatore Pinna began his career in the youth team of Sassari Calcio. He left the club in 1994 without a single game for the first team to have played and joined the Serie D club Castelsardo Calcio. Pinna managed quickly to establish itself as goalkeeper of the Sardinian club and played in four years a total of 131 league games for Castelsardo. In 1998 he moved to the fourth division ASD Torres Calcio. After he only acted as a substitute goalkeeper in the first two years, he was able to win a regular place in goal for the Sassareser and defend its position as the top performers in the following years in the 2000 /01 season.

The goalkeeper managed with the now ascended in the Serie C1 club for six years in a row in the league in the third highest Italian league. In summer 2009, he signed with the club Abruzzo Pescara Calcio a contract.
