Jorge Sammir Cruz Campos ( born April 23, 1987 in Itabuna, State of Bahia, Brazil), player name Sammir, is a Brazilian- Croatian footballer who Getafe has a contract with Spanish side FC.

Sammir is a robust, fast, technically very accomplished and safer ball player. He has a keen eye for his teammates, has an excellent passing game and preparing for the position of playmaker many goals. He stands further out due to its high scoring prowess, both standards as well from the game.

Career

Dinamo Zagreb

His footballing career started Sammir with ten years in the youth department of the Brazilian first division club Atlético Mineiro. 2005 he moved to the youth department of Atlético Paranaense. Three months before his move to Dinamo Zagreb, he signed a contract with São Caetano. Since the club but the agreed transfer fee not pointed, he moved in November 2006 to the Croatian record holder, but had to wait with his league debut until spring 2007. National

Sammir was until he moved to Croatia a regular in the Brazilian youth national teams. After his move to Europe, he was no longer considered by the Brazilian Football Federation ( CBF). After Slaven Bilic was transferred immediately after the Euro 2012 as a team leader of the Croatian national team, leaving his successor, Igor Štimac, announced at the beginning of his mandate that he would nominate Sammir in the foreseeable future. With acquisition of Croatian citizenship in late summer 2012, the way was open for Sammirs appeal.

On 12 October 2012, he finally made ​​his debut for the Croatian national team in the World Cup qualifying match of Group A for the World Cup 2014 against Macedonia.
