The Super T -Shirt is a British film of the Children's Film Foundation from 1978.

Action

The greatest desire of frail Sammy Smith is to be a sports superstar. With the help of his West Indian friend Marvin and bodybuilding course the famous "Professor Hercules" Sammy trained for long- distance running championship. Two school clubs, which are also Sammy's competitors in the championship, throwing his happiness Tiger T -shirt through a window of a research laboratory. When trying to get it back, Sammy hits an electrical installation. In the ensuing explosion, the T -shirt is transformed into a powerful source of strength.

The Research Director Mr Trotter and his boss Mr Becket decide to use this discovery for their own purposes, but Sammy and Marvin manage to escape with the T- shirt. This t-shirt allows Sammy to jump over a high factory wall, to stop the car the pursuer with one hand and like a rocket entlangzurennen the road.

Having escaped a few times scarce, Sammy makes it to the sports field. The two school bat let him stumble at the start of the race. With the help of the super T -shirts he manages to put on the top. Marvin comes straight to the sports field, when Sammy falters and eventually stops, since the T -Shirt loses its power. Marvin pulls down his T-shirt and convinces Sammy to run on its own. Sammy brings the other runners back and ultimately win the race.

Music

The title song Sammy's Super T -Shirt was written by Harry Robinson and Frank Godwin. From Robinson comes the original story on which is based the screenplay, he was therefore called as H. MacLeod Robertson in the credits.
