The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 ( model number GT- P5100 (3G version) or GT- P5110 (Wi- Fi version ) ) is based on the Android operating system tablet computer by the South Korean company Samsung. With a screen size of just over 25 cm, this Galaxy Tab is a direct competitor of the Apple iPad. The tablet computer is the successor of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and in Germany the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1N. The second generation of the Galaxy Tab came in May 2012 in Germany on the market and is available in two versions: Wi-Fi only or Wi -Fi and 3G. The successor to Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 3 appeared in 2013.
Technical details
The TFT LCD display measures 21.76 cm x 13.60 cm ( 10.1 inches ) at a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels ( pixel size 170 microns ). The display has a maximum luminance of 388 cd / m², a contrast ratio of 143:1 and can display up to 16 million colors. In contrast to the previous models, the display was slightly non-reflective.
