The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a 3 based on the Android operating system tablet computer by the South Korean company Samsung. With a screen size of just over 25 cm, this Galaxy Tab is a direct competitor of the Apple iPad. The Tablet PC is the successor of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. The third generation of the Galaxy Tab came in 2013 in Germany on the market and is available in three versions: 1 ) WiFi only ( model number GT- P5210 ), 2 ) WiFi and 3G ( model number GT- P5200 ), 3 ) WiFi and 3G-4G/LTE ( model number GT- P5220 ).

Technical details

The TFT LCD display measures 21.76 cm x 13.60 cm ( 10.1 inches ) at a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels ( pixel size 170 microns ). The display has a maximum luminance (brightness ) of 388 cd / m², a contrast ratio of 143:1 and can display up to 16 million colors. As with the previous model, the display was slightly non-reflective. The 1.6 GHz dual-core processor are 1024 MB of memory. Additional features include a video camera with HD resolution ( 1280 × 720 pixels), Mobile HSPA up to 21 Mbit / s, WiFi support and a 3-megapixel camera. The operating system Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is employed.

This tablet has the 3G and 4G/LTE-Version a quad-band equipment as well as a built-in microphone, and works as a mobile phone similar to the Samsung Galaxy S III.

About a microSD slot enables the available memory up to 64 GB to expand.
