San Isidro (Davao del Norte)
San Isidro is a Philippine municipality in the province of Davao del Norte.
Geography
The municipality of San Isidro is located on the southern Philippine island of Mindanao main in the northeastern province of Davao del Norte. It borders to the north and west by Kapalong and south also to Kapalong and at Asuncion. In the east, the municipality of Laak is in the province of Compostela Valley. The area consists of rolling hills and flat terrain. San Isidro is expected to air both type II and type IV according to the climate of the Philippine climate classification, both of which are characterized by the absence of a dry season. Air Type II is also characterized by large amounts of rain from November to January

Population structure and development
The first settlers were among the ethnicities of Dibabawon, Aetas, Mandaya and Bagobo. San Isidro has 25 548 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ).
History
The municipality of San Isidro was founded on 27 June 2004 after the passage of the Republic Act No. 9265. It has been previously formed from six to Asuncion and seven previously belonging to Kapalong barangays.
Traffic
The road network of the municipality consists of provincial roads, but extending in a north-south direction to the National Road is planned.
