Sanan Sjugirov
Sanan Vyacheslavovich Sjugirow (Russian Санан Вячеславович Сюгиров; * January 31, 1993 in Elista ) is a Kalmyk grandmaster in chess.
Life
Training is Sanan Sjugirow of the grandmasters Andrey Zontakh and Yuri Yakovich in Elista and Lipetsk. At the FIDE Grand Prix 2008 in Elista, he was a commentator together with Boris Spassky. Sjugirow studied at the State Pedagogical University in Lipetsk.
Achievements
Sanan Sjugirow had early on to have success. In the U10 World Cup 2002 in Iraklio he finished third, the U10 World Cup 2003 in Kallithea (Chalkidiki ) he won. In the U10 European Championships in 2002 and 2003 in Peniscola in Budva, he took second place. In the U12 World Cup in 2005 in Belfort, he was also runner-up, the U12 European Championships he won the 2004 in Urgup, as in 2005 in Herceg Novi. The U14 World Cup he won in 2007 in Kemer, the U14 European Championships in the same year in Šibenik with 8.5 points from 9 games and 1.5 points ahead. In 2008 he won the Russian U20 championship and was the Chigorin Memorial in Saint Petersburg fourth. At the European Championships 2009 in Budva, he won among others against Ivan Tscheparinow, Predrag Nikolić, Loek van Wely and Maxim Rodshtein. He finished in 16th place with a performance rating of 2746 Elo points. In the U20 Junior World Cup 2010 in the Polish Chotowa he finished second. 2013 he won the Open in Capelle- la -Grande.
Chess club he played in Russia for Perspektiva Lipetsk, Ugra Khanty-Mansiysk and PGMB Rostov -on-Don. With Ugra he finished the European Club Cup 2010 in Plovdiv the second place. In Greece, he plays for E.E.S. Korydallou. The Grandmaster title he bears since November 2008. Standards for this, he scored the femida Tournament 2007, with a 1st Saturday GM Tournament in May 2008 in Budapest, which he won, as well as qualifying for the Russian Individual Championship 2008 in Novokuznetsk. His previous highest Elo rating was 2657 in April 2013.
