Saori Kimura

Saori Kimura (Japanese木村 沙织, Kimura Saori, born August 19, 1986 in Yashio ) is a Japanese volleyball player. She participated in three Olympic Games and won the bronze medal in 2012.

Career

Kimura started her career at the Shimokitazawa Seitoku High School. In 2003 she debuted in the Japanese national team, with which it participated in the World Cup. In 2004, she reached the quarter-finals with the team and thus the fifth place at the Olympic Games. The following year, Japan took third place at the Asian Cup. Kimura also came to Toray Arrows 2005. In the 2006 World Cup in their own country they finished sixth with Japan. 2007 managed the national team 's victory in the Asian Cup.
