Sara Noxx

Sara Noxx is a German musician.

Career

She is one of the winners of the 1997 Zillo band contests. Her debut album and the single Noxxious Society crowded and still do today dancefloors in alternative clubs. Her follow-up album Paradoxx (1998) is characterized by electronic sounds, melancholic beats and lyrics full of end - romance. Stupid conquered Belgium's sales charts by storm - by embarking from 0 to 2, it drew international attention on the German electro-pop artist attention.

After a three year musical break in 2001 Exxtasy was published. Noxx won here for the first time by specific diversity in vocal timbre. Songs like Winter Again Last Desire and have become classics. Published in 2003, Sara Noxx her instrumental album Nonvoxx. In autumn, the album and the single Equinoxx Colder & Colder, which were in turn to find some weeks at the top of all European alternative charts published. In spring 2004, Sara's first book of poems was published Lyrixx. Another collaboration is the 2008 released CD Maxi Earth Song, which was created in collaboration with the German alternative band Project Pitchfork and contained remixes of artists such as dancing feet, Subway to Sally, Cat Rapes Dog and Joachim Witt. For the 19th Wave -Gotik-Treffen in May 2010, a cover version of " Where the Wild Roses Grow " was released with Mark Benecke, which was known electric bands like enemy flight, contrast, SITD and other remixed.

Music style

The music of Sara Noxx is dominated by electronic instrumentation paired with melodic chant. The songs are mostly built in the classical scheme. The former style of Sara Noxx was closely modeled on the British artist Anne Clark, has often been compared with the Noxx because of their very similar voice.
