Sarah Walsh

Sarah Walsh (born 11 January 1983 in Camden, New South Wales ) is a former Australian football national team.

Career

Walsh was appointed in the first round of Women's Professional Soccer League in the team of Sky Blue FC. On 26 June 2009 Walsh moved to Saint Louis Athletica.

She played for Australia at the 2004 Summer Olympics, the Asian Cup women and soccer Women's World Cup 2007.

On August 30, 2012 Walsh announced her departure from the national team. Their last game was a friendly match against the United States on 19 September 2012. Having scored a goal, ended her career in the national team with the substitution in the 54th minute.

In October 2012 it was announced that Walsh has signed a contract with the Western Sydney Wanderers FC. She was elected by her teammates directly to the Team Captain.

In 2012, it was announced that she is in a relationship with the U.S. soccer national team player Megan Rapinoe in three years.
