Å arbov

Šarbov (Hungarian Sarbo ) is a municipality in the district Svidník in Slovakia. Šarbov situated at an altitude of 446 meters above sea level in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.

The village lives of the forestry and agriculture, most notably from the livestock. The region around Šarbov is Slovak- Polish border area and forested predominantly dense. The limit is indeed the shortest way possible, one kilometer east of Šarbov, but the next official border crossing is in an easterly direction approximately 17.5 km drive away. The earliest written mention of Šarbov, then as Sarbowa, dates back to 1618.
