Sarmiza Bilcescu
Sarmiza Bilcescu - Alimănişteanu (* April 27, 1867; † August 26, 1935 ) was a Romanian jurist and the first woman who received his doctorate at the Sorbonne in law.
Life
From 1884 Bilcescu studied law at the University of Paris. Finally, where she earned her doctorate in French language with a thesis on the legal situation of mothers (under the original title " De la condition de la mère légale "). In 1891, they received approval for the Bar in Ilfov County in the Walachia region, and married Constantin Alimănişteanu. She was never legally represents.
Later she devoted herself exclusively to the "Society of the Romanian daughters " (Romanian: Societatea Domnişoarelor novels ), whose founding member, she was next to Sabina Cantacuzino and Ana Haret. Here she developed a feminist theory, in which they discussed new perspectives of women.
