Sarnowo, Nidzica County
Sarnowo [ sarnɔvɔ ] ( German Scharnau ) is a district of the municipality Kozłowo in Poland. He more than twelve kilometers southwest of the city Nidzica ( Neidenburg ) halfway Działdowo ( Soldau ) in the Warmia - Mazury.
History
As early as the Neolithic grave large systems ( chamberless hunebeds ) were created here.
Near the village there are also traces of glacial colonization.
The first written mention of the village was carried out on 28 October 1352nd It already existed in pre-Reformation time a church.
In January 1945 the place was captured by Soviet troops and placed under Polish administration.
