Sarrabus-Gerrei

Sarrabus - Gerrei is the name of a sub-region in the south-eastern Sardinia. It belongs to the province of Cagliari.

The rocky landscape consists of granite massifs, summer dry river valleys and vast alluvial plains, as the Flumendosa. Salty lagoons and sandy beaches are on the coasts. The road network and the investment in unused landscape grow.

Tourism

The coastal resorts of Costa Rei and Solanas are destinations for the residents of the cities of Cagliari and Villasimius Muravera or are easily accessible. At the Cala di Sinzias there are just camping and farm. Villasimius on the border of Sarrabus and the southeastern tip of the island forms the counterpoint, which continues at the touristy completely undeveloped coastal road to Cagliari. These high above the sea extending coastal road that opens up the Sarrabus, one of the scenic routes of the island.
