Saša Simonović

Sasa Simonovic (Serbian: Саша Симоновић; born July 20, 1975 in Niš ) is a Serbian football player who currently plays for Levski Sofia in Bulgaria. His position is midfield.

Career

Simonovic began his career in the youth of FK Radnički Niš, whom he left in the first team of FK Voždovcu Belgrade 1994. In 1995 he moved to Greece and played for three years at Aris Thessaloniki. Then he returned to Serbia and played at FK Obilić. After a few years in Belgrade, he returned his home again and moved back to Bulgaria to Levski Sofia. In his three years at United Bulgarian club two cup victories were celebrated and won a Bulgarian Supercup.

In the season 2005/ 06 the Serb was active at Vihren Sandanski, which he left direction Slavia Sofia. There he played two seasons and after another season with locomotive Mezdra he returned in early 2009 to Levski Sofia back and was able to promptly celebrate the Bulgarian Supercup.

National

Simonovic has played an international match in 2000 for the national team of Serbia and Montenegro.
