Sascha Herröder (2012 )

Sascha Herröder ( born April 18, 1988 in Gross-Gerau ) is a German footballer who plays in the position of central defender.

Career

Herröder played in his youth at the 1 FSV Mainz 05 and at SV Darmstadt 98 to 2009/10 season he joined Viktoria Aschaffenburg in Hessen League, but changed already the winter break to SV 07 Elversberg, in their second team he was employed. In the winter of 2010, he joined the second team of Eintracht Frankfurt in the Regionalliga Süd.

In July 2010, he moved from there to VfR basking in the Second Division. His professional league debut came on 12 February 2011, when he came in to replace Dennis Kempe in a 3-2 home win against SV Babelsberg 03 in the 75th minute. After that, he remained a substitute and played with his nine appearances only once over the full season. Also in the 2011/12 season he was late to the team and was eight times off the bench in the final minutes. Only at the end of the season denied Herröder the last five games in a row, where he became, respectively, used as a replacement for the injured or disabled regulars times on the left side of defense times in central defense. In the end, Aalen secured second place in the table and rose to the 2nd Bundesliga. An offer of VfR to renew his contract expires in the summer of 2012 declined from Herröder however.

Instead, he moved to the 2012/13 season to the second division Alemannia Aachen relegated, with whom he signed a one year contract until 30 June 2013.

After the descent of Aachen in 2013, he joined the third division Sportfreunde Lotte.

Private

Herröder learned after finishing school sports and fitness merchant. His father Siegfried Herröder is a former Nations Cup rider and now youth coach. His sister is the jumper Angelina Herröder.

He is dating Playmate Sandra Latko.
