Dennis Kempe

Dennis Kempe (* June 24, 1986 in Wesel ) is a German football player. It can be used in defense and in midfield.

Career

Kempe began playing football at the TV Voerde, before he moved on to the Learner Dinslaken. Later he joined the youth of Borussia Mönchengladbach. In the summer of 2005 he was, together with his team-mates Eugen Polanski in the squad of the German U-19 selection at the 2005 European Championships in Northern Ireland. A year later he was appointed to the An incoming of Regionalliga Nord reserve team of the traditional club.

After a season Kempe joined the reserve team of VfL Wolfsburg. After he did not want to renew his contract with the club, he did not come there but to use and decided, despite an offer from Hansa Rostock in a change to the 1 FC Kleve. In the fourth division Regionalliga West, he was one of large parts of the season to the permanent staff, but the descent of the club could not avoid.

In June 2009, Kempe moved to FC Vaduz in the Swiss Challenge League, the number of new players signed her after the descent from the Axpo Super League.

In September 2010, Kempe joined the German third division VfR Aalen. There he was coached by Rainer Scharinger and after his release also under successor Ralph Hasenhüttl immediately became a regular player, he was used mostly as a central defender. For the following season, 2011/12 Kempe followed his coach Scharinger the second division Karlsruher SC. His current contract runs until 30 June 2016.

Family

His father Thomas graduated 391 Bundesliga appearances for MSV Duisburg, VfB Stuttgart and VfL Bochum. His younger brother Tobias is also a professional footballer.
