Dominic Peitz ( born September 11, 1984 in Geseke ) is a German footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder.
Career
Peitz played from 2003 to 2005 at SC Paderborn 07 in the Regionalliga Nord. While he had suffered only two appearances in the 2003/04 season, he was the 2004/ 05 already 16 times on the court. He scored two goals. In summer 2005, he joined the second team of Werder Bremen, where he played until 2008 89 times. From July 2008 Peitz stood at VfL Osnabrück under contract, his second league debut came on 15 August 2008 on the opening day of the 2008/09 season in the game against FC St. Pauli. For VfL Peitz completed 31 league matches and scored three goals. Since the 2009/10 season he played for the first FC Union Berlin. In his first season he was selected by the kicker sports magazine as one of the strongest players in the league. In January 2011, Peitz received the Fair Play medal of the German Olympic Society (DOG ) during the New Year reception of the Berlin Football Association. This was preceded by a game of the 15th matchday against VfL Bochum, Peitz trail with 0-1 residue a yellow card for the opponent Chong Tese prevented by drew attention to the referee that an alleged handball teses was not.
