Manuel Torres Jiménez

Manuel Torres Jiménez ( born January 5, 1991 La Algaba, Seville ) is a Spanish football player. His preferred position is attacking midfielder, but can also be used on the outer positions.

Career

Torres played in the Youth for Betis Sevilla. In the summer of 2010 he moved to FC Villarreal, where he belonged to the squad of the second team. In the first half of the season 2010/11 he came there two appearances in the Segunda División. For the second round, he joined the second team of RCD Mallorca, with whom he played B Segunda División. Even after half a year he moved to the second team of FC Schalke 04, where he became a regular player. Due to a decimated by injuries squad stood Torres on April 13, 2013 home game against Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the first team squad, but did not play.

After his contract with Schalke expires, he joined the 2013/14 season the second division promoted at Karlsruher SC, where he signed a three -year contract. On August 16, 2013, there came to his first appearance in the 2nd Bundesliga when he came off the bench for the home game against SpVgg Greuther Fürth.
