SASTRA Ramanujan Prize
The SASTRA Ramanujan Prize is a mathematics prize, which is since 2005 by the Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy ( SASTRA ) in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India, awarded. It is endowed with U.S. $ 10,000 and is awarded annually to a mathematician, which are not older than 32 years and have achieved excellence in areas that were affected by the Indian mathematician Ramanujan S.. This research had taught himself very comprehensive, productive and profoundly in the fields of continued fractions, infinite series and the theory of numbers and in 1920 died at the age of 32 years.
