The Sauklippe in the basement Forest is a 584.4 m above sea level. NN high, north-east side of the summit Hunsrück at Bad Arolsen in the basement ridge high in the northern Hessian Schwalm- Eder-Kreis.

Geographical location

The Sauklippe located in the southeast of Keller Forest and Nature Park basement Edersee. Your wooded hilltop rises 1.3 km (airline ) northeast of the Hunsrück ( 584.4 m above sea level. NN ), a north-eastern side peak from the desert garden, the highest mountain in the basement Forest. It belongs to the municipal area of 4.7 km north-east town of Bad Arolsen, 3 km west-southwest of the community part - Oberurff Schiffelborn. Hiking

Just south past the crest of the Sauklippe the section Oberurff - Schiffelborn -Hunsrück runs the cellar forest walkway (156 km hiking trail in the Nature Park Keller - Lake Eder) and just west past the section Mount Liberty Jesberg of Lulluspfads (184 km hiking trail, the Lake Eder the with the Rennsteig connects ). Random paths and paths lead to the summit.
