Save Ferris

Save Ferris was an American ska band. It was founded in 1995, the resolution took place in 2002. The band's name comes from the movie Ferris Bueller's Day.

Band History

Singer of the band was Monique Powell. After a first EP, the band of Epic Records was signed. There, in 1997, the album It Means Everything, which reached number 75 on the Billboard 200 appeared. Save Ferris was viewed as a copy of the previously successful band No Doubt. The following year, the group had a cameo in the film 10 Things I Hate About You. In autumn 1999, Epic released the album Modified, which in turn placed in the charts, but with rank 136 was less successful than its predecessor.

In 2002 the group disbanded, Powell toured the connection but under his own name and with two - Save Ferris members and was played by the band material.
