SC-ESV Parndorf 1919

The SC- ESV Parndorf 1919 is an Austrian football club from Parndorf in Burgenland and plays in the 2013/14 season in the First League, the second highest Austrian league.

History

On 29 April 1988, the first joint general meeting of the SC Parndorf and ESV Parndorf was held and decided to merge the two clubs. After two years in the fourth-rate country club league in the North ( 5th power ) were relegated to the second league. In the 1992/93 season of revival was achieved in the highest league of Burgenland. In the years up to 2002/03, the SC -ESV Parndorf always played for the promotion to the Regionalliga Ost. In the season 2002/ 03 then managed the then largest success in the club's history: with a record margin of 31 points and a goal difference of 78:20 was the SC -ESV Parndorf 1919 Master of Burgenland League and ultimately promotion to the Regionalliga.

In the 2003 /04 season of SC / ESV Parndorf 1919 managed with 7 -point lead the championship title in the regional league, but missed in relegation matches for first league the rise due to the away goals rule. In the following season 2004/ 05 there was only enough for runner-up title behind the FK Austria Wien II

In the finish of the Game 2005 /06 Parndorf but sat ultimately against his strongest rivals SKN St. Pölten and First Vienna FC narrowly and increased after the second power level increased to twelve teams and the relegation games were abolished, directly into the first league. In the following year, 2010/11 failed Parndorf in the relegation, this time to First Vienna FC.

Promotion to the First League 2013

In the 2012/13 season was master Parndorf the Regional League East and qualified for the relegation games against the Ninth of the First League, Blau-Weiss Linz. The castle countries won the home game against the Linzer 2-1 and the away game 1-0. This abolished the SC -ESV Parndorf 1919, as well as the licensing requirements of the Austrian Bundesliga could be easily met, again promoted to the First League and is one of the top 20 football teams in Austria.
