The flowers appear singly in the leaf axils or in zymösen, or racemose inflorescences aged men. The hermaphrodite, five petals are zygomorphic; as well as the common names in different languages say, they are fan-shaped. Almost always are five small sepals present. The five petals are fused at the base. It's just a circle with five free stamens present. Two carpels are fused to a half-submerged or inferior ovary.
