Features

Butterfly

The moths reach a wingspan from 33 to 45 millimeters. The front wings are gray-brown in the rule. The same color midfield is bordered by blackish transverse lines, which are often applied white. Geographical distribution and habitat

The double toothed tensioner comes in its nominate almost all over Europe to the Urals before. He is also disseminated through Siberia and the Amur - Ussuri region to the Kuril Islands and Japan. He settled preferably deciduous, mixed, breakage and bog forests and parklands.

Way of life
