The Schaerbeek / Schaerbeek railway station is a railway station of NMBS / SNCB, the Belgian municipality of Schaerbeek / Schaerbeek in Brussels. Schaerbeek / Schaerbeek is the first station to Brussels on the railway line Brussels - Antwerp.

History

The first station building of Schaerbeek / Schaerbeek dated from 1864 and was not much more than a wooden hut. The older part of the red - white brick building, a smaller building on the left wing, dates from 1887 and was designed by the architect Franz Seulen. It was expanded in 1913 in the Flemish neo-renaissance style. Since 1994, the entire building is a listed building.
