The Schanz Glacier is a 15 km long glacier in the West Antarctic Heritage Range. It flows between the Søholt peaks and the Collier Hills in the south, where he encounters the Union Glacier.

The glacier was mapped by the United States Geological Survey as part of the compilation of Ellsworthgebirges in the years 1961-66 by site surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy. The U.S. Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the Schanz Glacier to Lieutenant Commander Thomas L. Schanz, a supply officer in the Navy squadron VX- 6 during Operation Deep Freeze 1965.
