Castle Cold Mountain, which is also the venue for the cold Berger knight tournament, is located near the Ammersee in Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech, near the City of Munich (approx. 55 km ) and the medieval - romantic major district town of Landsberg am Lech (approx. 19 km).

Modern Times
Today ( brewed since 1876 ) Castle cold mountain is home to some of the breweries of King Ludwig's Castle Brewery.
100,000 hectoliters of beer are brewed here each year. Other (larger) brewery is 20 km away Fürstenfeldbruck. The castle is now the residence of Prince Luitpold of Bavaria, and his family. But it also serves as a function room and has 2 restaurants.
The elaborate " cold Berger jousting " on the castle grounds are visited annually by tens of thousands of people and have made itself known nationwide the small country castle. The main event takes place in the big tournament arena instead of the castle, which was expanded again in 2006.
Specifications
The four -leaf plant is largely due to the conversion of the 19th century, which was given in 1841 commissioned by the then owner Johann Adolph summer.
