The Snip head is a 1,833 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps. It is located in the designated as the "sun heads " mountain range, which branches off at Gundkopf north and limits the Illertal east and Imberger Horn ends at Hindelang. The Snip head is the highest and most southerly of the partially wooded surveys following the Entschenkopf north.

The Snip head can be achieved not difficult on marked trails. A favorite is the rise. Gaisalpe of the over the Falkenjoch and over the grassy slopes to the summit
